Sharona Mallach enters her third season as an assistant athletic trainer at Assumption College in the 2015-16 season. Mallach came to Assumption from Fairleigh Dickinson University-College at Florham (N.J.), where she served as an assistant athletic trainer since 2010.

In the summer of 2015, Mallach served as an athletic trainer for the United States delegation at the European Maccabi Games in Berlin, Germany.

At FDU, Mallach coordinated care for the field hockey, women's soccer, women's basketball and women's lacrosse programs. She also provided game and practice coverage for all of the school's intercollegiate athletic programs and performed injury evaluations and provided other appropriate care for the student-athletes.

She also worked as a medical office assistant for Newton-Wellesley Orthopedic Associates in Newton, Mass. from November 2007 to July 2008, as well as a gymnastics team assistant coach at the South Mountain YMCA since July 2008. Mallach worked as an athletic training student at both Drew University (N.J.) and St. Peter's College (N.J.), along with South Plainfield High School (N.J.) and Tom Rivers High School (N.J.).

Mallach earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Boston University (Mass.) in 2007, as well as her masters of science degree in athletic training from Seton Hall University (N.J.) in 2010.
