The Sports Medicine Department is comprised of four Certified Athletic Trainers who are board certified healthcare professionals trained to provide student-athletes with high quality healthcare though the six domains of Athletic Training. This includes prevention, evaluation and assessment, immediate care, treatment and rehabilitation, organization and administration, and professional development. Assumption University Athletic Trainers work under the direction of head team physician Dr. Lee Mancini and make referrals though the UMASS Memorial Healthcare System.
