WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption College men's and women's cross country teams have earned All-Academic honors for the 2017 season from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while five Hounds collected individual All-Academic accolades.
The Lead: The Assumption College men's cross country team finished ninth at the 2017 NCAA East Regional Championship held in Buffalo, New York this afternoon. The team improved three spots from a year ago when they finished 12th, while the ninth place finish is the best in recent program history.

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption College men's cross country team was chosen tenth in the Northeast-10 Pre-Championship poll, voted on by the league's 15 head coaches.
The Lead: The Assumption College men's cross country team raced to a sixth place finish in the “white division” at the Paul Short Invitational today. The team combined for 233 points which was just 30 points shy of the top three schools.
The Lead: The Assumption College men's cross country team finished ninth out of 40 teams today at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, improving ten spots after placing 19th two years ago at the meet.
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption College men's and women's cross country programs have announced the full schedule for the upcoming 2017 season. The Hounds kick off the season at the Shacklette Invitational on September 2nd in a meet hosted at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. Times for all meets will be added as they become available.
