Volleyball Hosts Lymphoma Awareness Game Tuesday

WORCESTER, Mass. – On Tuesday, October 29 at 7 p.m., Assumption's Women's Volleyball team will be hosting a Lymphoma Awareness Game. This year, the team encourages everyone to wear green in support of lymphoma.

The team will be taking donations to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund to support cancer research and care leading up to and throughout the duration of the game. Dana-Farber provides expert, compassionate care to children and adults and is home to groundbreaking cancer discoveries. Since its founding in 1948, the Kimmy fund has raised millions of dollars through thousands of community efforts to advanced Dana-Farber's mission. The team is looking to raise $600 and would love any contribution. If you would like to donate, you can click on the link below or find the link on volleyball's athletic page.
