-Annie Irwin (Norwood, Mass. / Montrose School) struck for the Hounds' second goal of the game, putting her team up 2-0 at the 64:06 mark. On the goal, Alexis Stowell (Franklin, Mass. / Franklin) send a high ball into the offensive zone that Shatney then got a head on and sent Irwin's way. Irwin then rushed past a couple defenders to get to the open ball and then sent the kick high and into the top corner for the score.

-The Hawks did pull back within one at the 80:54 mark when Caly Farina scored from about 10 yards out. However, it was the last scoring chance Saint Anselm would get the rest of the way with the Hounds possessing the ball for much of the final 10 minutes of play.
