WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a 2-0 week, women's lacrosse is currently ranked 17th most recent Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Coaches Poll and 19th in the latest Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

Assumption didn't move in the IWLCA Poll with 219 points is just one spot and 27 points behind New Haven (246), who the Hounds beat two weeks ago. Le Moyne remains the top ranked team in the nation, accumulating all 25 first place votes. Adelphi stayed at second, while Merrimack (18) and Pace (19) are in the top 20. In the Nike/US Lacrosse Poll, the Hounds stayed at 19th while Le Moyne remained at first, followed by Adelphi (3), Bentley (18) and New Haven (20).

Assumption opened the week with a dominating 22-8 win over American International. The team continued their momentum with a 19-10 win over Saint Anselm where they only allowed the Hawks one goal in the second half.
