WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a 1-1 week and a record-breaking scoring output, the Assumption women's lacrosse team is ranked 24th in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) National Poll.

This marks the fourth straight national ranking for the Hounds, who garnered 78 points and dropped a spot from last week's poll. Bentley is four spots ahead of Assumption at No. 20 with 109 points, while New Haven is 19th. Adelphi is the top-ranked team in the nation, followed Le Moyne (3), Pace (10) and Merrimack (14).

Assumption fell to Le Moyne in its opening game of the week. However, the Hounds rebounded with a record-breaking 27-14 victory over Southern New Hampshire on Saturday. Assumption had eight different players score at least two goals, led by Sarah Reilly (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield-Warde) with eight points and Allison Foley (Walpole, Mass. / Walpole) with seven points.

On Wednesday, Assumption looks to win their second straight when they host AIC at 7 pm.
