Mickey Miela begins his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Assumption College men’s and women’s track and field program in 2016-2017. Miela works with the sprinters and hurdlers.

A 2013 graduate of Stonehill College, Miela graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in both American studies and religious studies. While at Stonehill, Miela was a part of a school-record indoor 4x400 relay team and contributed to the Skyhawks runner-up finish at the 2011 Northeast-10 Conference Championship as he scored in both the hurdles and the 4x400 relay. Miela has previous coaching experience as well, serving as a football graduate assistant at Stonehill in the spring of 203.

Miela has been working with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship since June of 2013.
