Men’s Track & Field Has Four Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. – Following an impressive spring season, Assumption men's track & field had four student-athletes earn United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors. The awards recognize each region's top five performers in individual events and top three teams in relay events.

Junior Kevin Hack (Uxbridge, Mass. / Nipmuc Regional) earned All-Region honors in both the high jump and the decathlon for the second straight year. He is a three-time All-Region selection in the high jump. This year Hack set a new school record in the decathlon with 6444 points and had the top score in the region. He also set a new school record in the high jump with a height of 2.01 meters.

Cameron Donoghue (Yarmouth Port, Mass. / Barnstable) was named All-Region in the decathlon, his first career selection in that event. He was selected as All-Region during the indoor season in the heptathlon each of the last two years. Donoghue finished second in the East Region with 6224 points, a total he reached at the NEICAAA Championships last weekend. The sophomore also finished as the runner-up in the event at the NE10 Championships.

Max Michaud (Northborough, Mass. / Algonquin) earned All-Region honors during the outdoor season in the 800 meters for the second time in his career and third time overall. The junior finished fourth overall with his time of 1:52.31 seconds. Michaud also earned a third place finish in the event at the NE10 Championships.

John Plisko (Moosic, Pa. / Riverside) was honored as All-Region for the second straight year in the javelin. This year the senior's throw of 59.03 meters in the NE10 Championships was good enough for a Division II provisional score and third in the East. Plisko also took third in the javelin at the NE10 Championships.
