WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a record-breaking performance over the weekend at the Northeast Combined Events Challenge, junior Kevin Hack (Uxbridge, Mass. / Nipmuc) was selected as the NE10 Field Athlete of the Week.
Hack shattered the school record in the decathlon by over 300 points with his total of 6,444 points. He also broke a 45-year old school record in the high jump in the process with a height of 2.01 meters. His total is the best in the region by more than 200 points and the 18th best in the nation. His high jump mark also leads the entire East region.
