MacElveen in entering his first season as the Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach.

MacElveen most recently worked at Shrewsbury High School as the assistant swim coach. In his time at Shrewsbury, he helped coach six athletes to the Massachusetts State Finals. Prior to this, he was the assistant aquatics director at Hartwick College; Hartwick College Coach for the swim and dive camp; Coach for the Dolphins of the Hudson Valley, helping send three swimmers to the Speedo Nationals; Swim Coach for Vassar College Swim Camp. 

MacElveen received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at Hartwick College and was a four-year member of the Swimming and Diving team. He is a native of Poughkeepsie, New York.
