On Saturday, Weber continued her impressive week with first-place finishes in the 100 backstroke (1:00.50), the 100 butterfly (1:00.64) and the 200 IM (2:14.99). She also competed with the 200 medley relay squad for the second day in a row, helping lead the team to a victory in 1:53.92.

The 200 medley relay squad was also recognized this week as the NE-10 Relay Team of the Week. Weber, junior Rachel Gagnon (Tolland, Conn. / Tolland), sophomore Courtney Barr (Waltham, Mass. / Matignon) and sophomore Carylyn Waite (Tampa, Fla. / Tampa Prep) kicked off Friday's win against Mount Holyoke with a victorious time of 1:52.77 before beginning Saturday's meet in the same fashion. The team clocked a time of 1:53.92 for the win against Pace and SUNY Purchase.

Two Hounds were named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll for their stellar performances, Waite and freshman Shannon Quirk (Wakefield, Mass. / Wakefield Memorial).

Waite racked up seven first-place finishes this week including five individual victories. On Friday she claimed the 50 freestyle (25.44), the 100 freestyle (55.14) and the 200 free (1:52.77) in addition to helping lead the 200 medley relay squad to a victory in 1:52.77. Quirk, who has been named NE-10 Rookie of the Week for the past three weeks, earns her first Weekly Honor Roll nod for her performance that included three first-place finishes on the road at Pace. She touched the wall first in the 1,000 freestyle in her time of 10:37.82, nearly breaking the Assumption program record of 10:37.07, set in February 2012.

Quirk also claimed a victory in the 500 freestyle with her time of 5:15.01 and helped lead the 400 freestyle relay squad to a win with a time of 3:45.93. Both first-place finishes came the day after she earned two silver medals at home against Mount Holyoke in the 1,000 free (10:43.78), and the 500 free (5:17.30).

Assumption returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Wesleyan Invitational at WPI. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
