WORCESTER, Mass. - After a solid season and a bid to the NE10 Tournament, the Assumption College Softball Team earned a regional ranking, as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday.
This season the Hounds had a 19-16 overall record, and a 14-10 NE10 Conference record to earn the No. 4 seed in the NE10 Tournament. Seven out of the ten teams ranked belong to the NE10 Conference. Saint Anselm was ranked first, followed by Southern N.H., Adelphi, Le Moyne, and LIU Post. Merrimack took the sixth spot while Wilmington, Mercy, Pace and Assumption rounded out the top ten.
