Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Road Final in Season Finale

- The Lead: The Assumption College men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Northeast-10 opponent Franklin Pierce on Friday night in the Hound's last game of the 2015 season. Assumption finished with a conference record of 2-7-4.

How It Happened

- Franklin Pierce notched the only goal of the game in the 12th minute when George Levantakis shot 10 yards out on the left side.  

- Senior Dana King (Windham, Maine/Windham) made a noteworthy save when Victor DaCosta headed the ball towards the goal in the 36th minute.

- Junior Hector Sola (Guaynabo, P.R. / Colegio San Ignacio) had a great chance to score for the Hounds in the 36th minute but the Raven's goalkeeper, Jordan LeGuyader, made the save.

- Senior Nemanja Kaurin (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) was unlucky when his shot was saved by Aidan Abolfazi in the 52nd minute of the game.

Behind the Numbers

- King tallied three saves throughout the game while both of the Raven's goalkeepers each had only one.

- Franklin Pierce outshot the Greyhounds 18-7 for the game, along with holding an 8-3 edge in corner kick chances..
