Men's Soccer Falls in 1-0 Road Final at Bentley

- The Lead: Assumption dropped a 1-0 road final to Bentley University on Sunday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference play in Waltham, Mass.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The first half in Saturday's game was scoreless as both teams played solid defensively in the draw thru the first 45 minutes..

- Bentley's Forrest Scaringe headed the ball in off of a corner kick taken by Jose Tirado to put Bentley on the board 1-0.

BEHIND THE NUMBERS:

- Assumption senior goalie Dana King (Windham, Maine/Windham) tallied three saves during the match, compared to Bentley's goalie Jack Blatchford, who finished with zero saves.

- Overall the Falcons held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks for the game, while also holding a 15-3 advantage in overall shots.
