Hounds Men's Soccer Falls to Southern N.H., 3-0

Worcester, Mass. (October 8) -- The Assumption men's soccer team fell to Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday. Southern New Hampshire stretched its winning streak to six games, while Assumption dropped to 2-5-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the Northeast-10.

Southern New Hampshire took a 2-0 lead into halftime, behind goals by Chris Tsonis and Chris Pereira, which came three minutes apart in the first half. 

Matt Wrenn (Windham, N.H./Tilton School) took over in goal in the second half and allowed one goal on a rebound following a penalty kick, to leave the final margain at 3-0.

Max Roche (Medway, Mass./Medway) attempted four shots in the loss.

The Hounds hit the field next on Tuesday, October 11th, when the team travels to Saint Anselm. The game will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Manchester, N.H.
