WORCESTER, Mass. – After an eight-win regular season for the Assumption men's lacrosse team, rising seniors Brett Jennings (Montgomery, N.Y. / Valley Central) and Tim Tierney (Framingham, Mass. / Framingham) have earned All-New England Second-Team Honors from the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA).
Jennings got the nod as a midfielder for the Hounds, while Tierney earned it as a defenseman. Jennings scored 26 goals and added seven assists for 33 points this season. He caused 12 turnovers with 13 ground balls in 14 games. Jennings earned first-team honors as a sophomore.
Tierney had two assists this season while causing 15 turnovers and 41 ground balls in 15 starts. His selection comes after also receiving Third-Team All-Conference Honors from the Northeast-10. For a complete list of all award recipients, click here.
