Men’s Lacrosse Ranked 17th in Newest USILA National Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. – After another solid victory last week the Hounds advanced two spots to 17th in the most recent United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Poll (USILA) National Poll while taking the No. 15 spot in the Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

The Hounds advanced two spots into 17th, matching the best ranking in program history. Adelphi retained its spot atop the rankings with 394 points, while Merrimack is close by in fourth with 337 points. Le Moyne (6) and Pace (9) both are in the top-ten again, with Saint Anselm earned the No. 20 ranking for a third straight week. In the Nike/US Lacrosse Poll, Adelphi is No. 1, followed by Merrimack

Assumption earned a 13-7 victory over Franklin Pierce behind a balanced scoring attack as five different players had at least two goals. In net, senior Colby Hamwey (West Yarmouth, Mass. / Wilbraham & Monson) stopped 16 shots while allowing just seven goals.
