WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a career performance against a nationally ranked opponent, senior Colby Hamwey (West Yarmouth, Mass. / Wilbraham & Monson) has been named the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week, as well as to the USILA DII Team of the Week.

Hamwey came through when his team needed it most, tying his career high with 19 saves in Assumption's 11-10 victory over then No. 9 Tampa. The senior made six saves in the fourth quarter while allowing just two goals, including one save in the final two minutes, as the Hounds earned the program's first-ever win over a top-ten program. He currently ranks second in the NE10 with 36 saves.

Senior Travis Reid (Raynham, Mass. / Bridgewater Raynham) was also named to the DII Team of the Week after totaling seven points in the Assumption win over Tampa. This is the second straight week Reid has been named to Team of the Week and he currently leads the nation, averaging 9.33 points per game. To view the complete Team of the Week, click here.
