WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a dominant performance against Saint Michael's this past Saturday, junior Colby Hamwey (West Yarmouth, Mass. / Wilbraham & Monson Academy) was honored as the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Hamwey had one of the best performances of his career in the team's 13-3 victory on Saturday. The goalie tied a career-high with 16 saves while playing 54:43 and allowing just three goals for a 84.2 save percentage. On the year, Hamwey leads the entire nation with an 82.6 save percentage and 2.49 GAA, to go along with a perfect 2-0 record. To view the complete NE10 release, click here.
The Hounds and Hamwey look to improve to 3-0 when they play host to Post University on Friday at 6 pm.
