Men’s Lacrosse To Raise Money for Devin Suau & Family This Saturday

WORCESTER, Mass. – This Saturday, the Assumption men's lacrosse program will help raise money for Devin Suau, a young six-year old from Framingham, who was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.

In January, Devin was surprisingly diagnosed with a rare type of pediatric cancer, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), and was found to have an inoperable, incurable tumor on his brain stem. He has only been given 8 months to two years to live, though Devin and his family are trying to help raise awareness about this devastating disease.

At Saturday's game, the team will be collecting donations that will go directly to the Suau family and if Devin is able to be in attendance the team will recognize him prior to the game. Those who would like more information about Devin and his fight with DIPG, by visiting his Facebook page here. Devin's gogundme page can be found here if you would like to donate: https://www.gofundme.com/devin-needs-your-help

In addition to recognizing Devin, the Hounds will also be honoring its two seniors, Jack Drapeau and TJ McNicholas.
