WORCESTER, Mass. – Following an undefeated week for the Assumption men's ice hockey team, Devan Sheth (Ashland, Mass. / Islanders Hockey Club (USPHL Premier)) has earned Northeast-10 Player of the Week. The conference made the announcement today.
Sheth tallied one goal and three assists for four points in two games for the Hounds. He started the week with an assist in his team's tie against UMass Dartmouth and finished it with one goal and two assists in a conference win over the second place Saint Michael's Purple Knights. Sheth finished the week +2 while on the ice.
It is the second week in a row a player from the Hounds won a weekly award with David Zulauf (Rochester, Mich. / Bridgton Academy (Prep)) earning Goalie of the Week Honors last week.
