- The Lead: A day after netting his first collegiate goal and assist, Alexander Mavrogiannis (Dover, Mass. / East Coast Wizards (EHL)) netted the game-winning goal with 43 seconds left in overtime to lift the Assumption Greyhounds 4-3 over the Post Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Mavrogiannis' game-winner started when John Fine-Lease (Willsboro, N.Y. / Walpole Express (EHL)) dug a puck out from the corner and dished it to Dante Maribito (Georgetown, Mass. / Phillips Academy (Prep)). Maribito gave a nice pass to Mavrogiannis out front, who then sent a rocketing shot past Post goalie Brandon Brown's blocker side for the game-winning goal at the 4:17 mark of overtime.

-Post tied the game at three with just 44 seconds left in the game. Jake Raleigh scored while on the power play for his second of the 2019-20 campaign. Michael Zampanti (Winthrop, Mass. / Boston Jr. Bruins (USPHL Premier)) put the Hounds up 3-2 at the 3:07 mark of the third period. It marked two straight goals for the Hounds, who ended the second period tied at two and the first period tied at one.

-Christopher Stalmok (Paxton, Mass. / Boston Jr. Bruins (USPHL Premier)) gave the Hounds an initial 1-0 lead at the 12:58 mark of the first. Post was able to tie the game at one by the end of the period and then went up 2-1 at the 11:54 mark of the second, but Maribito tied the game at two just 30 seconds after Post's go-ahead goal.
