- The lead: Not even 24 hours after scoring both goals for the Assumption Greyhounds in a loss to the Saint Michael's Purple Knights, freshman Devan Sheth (Ashland, Mass. / Islanders Hockey Club (USPHL Premier)) netted the game-winning goal with nine seconds left in overtime to lift the Hounds past the Saint Michael's, 3-2, in the final game of a weekend series between the two teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-With mere seconds left in overtime, Robert Roche (Holden, Mass. / Tri City Storn (USHL)) gathered in a rebound shot and quickly passed it off to Sheth. All in one motion, Sheth took the pass and launched the puck past Saint Michael's goalie Hugo Turcotte, who was out of position on the attempt, with just nine seconds left in overtime to put his team up for good at 3-2.

-Saint Michael's had tied the game up at two just 32 seconds into the third period. While on the power play, Sam D'Antonio rushed the net and finished with a quick touch to tie the game.

-The Hounds took an initial 2-1 lead at the 10:26 mark of the second period. After winning the faceoff in the offensive zone and while on the power play, Brendan Philippon (Salem, N.H. / Philadelphia Flyers (USPHL Premier)) and Robert Holyoke (Middleboro, Mass. / South Shore Kings (USPHL Premier)) went back-and-forth with the puck at the top of the zone. Holyoke eventually found an opening and rocketed a shot past Turcotte for his team's second power play goal of the game.

-The Hounds' first power play goal tied the game at one at the 11:25 mark of the first period. After Saint Michael's failed to clear the puck, Assumption's Dante Tomassini (North Branford, Conn. / Connecticut Jr. Wolfpack (EHL)) fed a pass to Roche, who stood, waiting, at the high-point. He fired a one-timer past Turcotte for his fourth goal of the season.
