WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption Department of Athletics will be holding an Ugly Sweater Night on Tuesday, Dec. 5 during its men's and women's basketball doubleheader, which begins at 5:30 pm.
All fans and students wearing a holiday sweater will be entered to win gift cards from area Worcester businesses, as well as sign up to take part in a halftime shootout with the possibility of winning Assumption athletic gear. Fans and students will also have the opportunity to take a photo with Pierre or their friends.
The women's basketball team will host Stonehill at 5:30 pm, followed by the men playing the Skyhawks at 7:30 pm. Admission to the doubleheader is just $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens, high school and middle school students. Children under 12, as well as faculty and students are admitted for free.
