WORCESTER, Mass. - Head field hockey coach, Annie Lahey is excited to announce seniors Shannon Quinlan (Buffalo, N.Y. / Williamsville North), Kileigh Hynes (Auburn, Mass. / Auburn), Alexa Mulvihill (Westbrook, Conn. "It is obvious that this year is far from normal, but we have shown that as a team we can handle adversity," said Lahey. "With the commitment Alexa, Shannon, Izzy and Kileigh have shown to the program, I have trust that regardless of what the rest of the year holds, we have dedicated leaders that will ensure that we stay connected while apart. "This team is focused on our comeback and when it is possible, I expect us to be able to get back on the field together and pick back up just as intense and determined as we were last season to achieve the goals we have set".

Hynes competed in 21 games with nine starts last season. She scored three goals and assisted on three goals for a career-high nine points on the season. "What I love about the assumption field hockey culture is our "why not us" mentality and the constant heart and determination the team shows in the face of challenges," said Hynes.

Mulvihill appeared and started in 20 games her junior season. She recorded two defensive saves in the NCAA first-round game against East Stroudsburg on November 16th. Mulvihill was named the Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week on October 8th and was also named Synapse Sports Division II Honor Roll. "I am so honored to be selected as a captain for this year," said Primack. "I am determined to help guide this team, alongside Alexa, Shannon, and Kileigh during these hard times and adapt to any changes we may face throughout the year".
