WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior runnning back, Khaleed Exum-Strong (Norwichtown, Conn. / Norwich Free Academy) was named the Northeast-10 Conference football offensive player of the week as announced by the conference office this afternoon.
Exum-Strong led the Assumption offense in a 54-23 victory over the Hawks of Saint Anselm College on Saturday afternoon at the Multi-Sport Stadium. He finished the day with 191 rushing yards from 20 rushes, including an 80-yard run for a touchdown in the third quarter. He totaled four touchdowns to lift the Hounds to victory.
The Hounds are on the road this week when they travel to Southern Connecticut State University for their first NE10 contest of the season on Friday, September 20th. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
