WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption College junior catcher Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) has added two more accolades to his decorated career, as the Quincy, Massachusetts native collected All-East Region First-Team honors from the Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA), as well as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
WORCESTER, Mass. – Two members of the Assumption College baseball team have earned NE10 All-Conference honors, as voted by the league's 15 head coaches. Senior Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) was named to the First Team, while graduate transfer Quinn Moynihan (Worcester, Mass. / Lipscomb University) was named to the Third Team.
The Lead: The Assumption baseball team concluded its 2018 season with a pair losses at Southern New Hampshire, falling 15-2 in the opener before dropping the nightcap 15-2.

The Lead: The Assumption baseball team was looking for the weekend sweep of Saint Anselm today, as the Hounds claimed game one 14-6 and grabbed an 11-6 lead in the ninth inning of game two before the game was called for darkness. The game will be finished at a later date and restarted where the two teams left off.
The Lead: Saint Anselm erased a three run deficit in the ninth to force extras, before Assumption scored three in the 12th to improve to 2-0 in NE10 Divisional play.
