"I am so proud of our student athletes and staff," said Director of Athletics Jamie Marcoux. "It was an amazing year for Assumption Athletics as we achieved our highest point total in school history and finished in the top three of the President's Cup standings for the second time in five years. The hard work and dedication of all that are involved in Assumption Athletics is clear. We will continue to strive for excellence and be among the best in the NE10 athletically, academically and in our community."

The Presidents' Cup is presented annually to signify overall athletic excellence in the Northeast-10. The honor is awarded to the institution that compiles the most cumulative points, based on finishes in the regular-season standings, from all of its programs competing in the league championships.

Assumption claimed one NE10 Title over the 2018-19 academic year, with women's swimming and diving winning its fourth conference championship in the last six seasons. Twelve teams in total made a conference tournament while women's soccer earned a runner-up finish in NE10 Championship, for their best finish since 2014. Both men's and women's outdoor track and field set best finishes in program history at the NE10 Championships, including consecutive runner-up finishes for the women in both indoor and outdoor track. Women's lacrosse also claimed its highest finish in over ten years by tying for third in the conference.
