Assumption to Hold Third Annual Hounds4CRS Basketball Doubleheader Feb. 10

 

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption College Department of Athletics is pleased to support Catholic Relief Services with its Hounds4CRS fundraiser, held during its men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Feb. 10, which begins at 1:30 pm in Laska Gymnasium.

Hounds4CRS is a fundraiser help to increase awareness about all the humanitarian work Catholic Relief Services (CRS) does across the world, as well as raise money for the organization. As part of the event, admission to the basketball doubleheader will be waived and there will be various raffles for Assumption students and the local community. This is the third consecutive year Assumption will host a CRS game, and the school raised more than $10,000 during its first two years.

Catholic Relief Services is one of the largest global relief aid organizations in the world and in May of 2016, Assumption became just one of 12 college campuses nationwide designated as a CRS Global Campus.
