Brian Kelly '83 Stadium

The Brian Kelly '83 Stadium is the home to a number of Assumption Athletic programs, including football, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s lacrosse. Seating 1,200 fans in the stadium’s bleacher seating, the stadium also has the “Hound Pound” area located within the main grandstand area.

Over the past two years Assumption football has led the nation in average attendance compared to its seating capacity. Last year alone the team averaged 2,159 fans per home game, including a school-record 2,814 in the team's nationally ranked battle with LIU Post. It surpassed the record of 2,717 set the year before against Stonehill. Overall the team has drawn over 2,100 fans in four of its last eight home games entering the 2017 season.

In the summer of 2015, the turf placing surface was replaced by Shaw Sports Turf as the company installed their Legion 46 system at the Brian Kelly '83 Stadium. The lighted field complex features an artificial turf playing surface and a full-service concession stand. Located adjacent to many of the on-campus housing facilities, the Brian Kelly '83 Stadium is conveniently located for students to attend Assumption College athletic events throughout the fall and spring seasons.
