Athletic Administration Intern - Full Description
Assumption seeks an enthusiastic applicant who is well organized and wants to be a part of a fun and energetic organization while building their portfolio of work. Varies from day to day. Most projects are research-based, often looking at comparing our athletic department or individual sports to those at our peer institutions. Tracking the progress of the strategic plan is a primary focus and assisting with preparing presentations. This position will also work directly with other Athletics senior level administrators to get a full scope of the business operations of a Division II intercollegiate athletics department where special projects will be assigned. The intern in this position would assist in the day-to-day internal operations of a Division II Athletic Department supporting 24 varsity sports.

Communications Intern - Full Description
Assumption seeks an enthusiastic applicant who is well organized and wants to be a part of a fun and energetic organization while building their portfolio of work. The goal of the communications internship program, through the Athletic Communications Office, is to provide students with hands-on experience in a variety of areas ranging from video recording and editing, to writing of athletic game stories and use of social media. This program will also allow the Athletic Communications Office to expand its content online and through other mediums by utilizing more students and therefore helping the overall product seen by the public.

Communications Video Intern - Full Description
The goal of this specific video/broadcasting internship program, run by the Athletic Communications Office is to provide experience in a number of areas involving video editing, interviewing of student-athletes and coaches and heavy involvement in the department’s webcasting of home athletic events through Production Truck. It provides real-world experience in a growing industry and most of the work can be used as material for a future demo reel.

Graphic Design Internship - Full Desciption
The goal of the Assumption athletics graphic design internship program is to provide students with hands-on experience in a variety of areas with the marketing and promotion of the University's intercollegiate athletic programs. This program will allow the department to increase its promotional efforts, both on and off-campus, both from a communications and marketing point of view. The ideal intern candidate will possess skills in graphic design that will allow for an immediate impact to be made in the image put forth by Assumption Athletics and also be willing to brainstorm and work independently in creating new ideas. This program will be managed by the Athletic Communications Office.

External Relations Intern - Full Description
Assumption seeks an enthusiastic applicant who is well organized and wants to be a part of a fun and energetic organization while building their portfolio of work. The External Relations Intern will report to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Relations. This position is responsible for providing support and assistance with the daily operation for the Athletics Department External Relations. This position will work closely with the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Relations to coordinate and implement donor relations strategies for fundraising priorities.
Equipment & Operations Intern - Full Description
Assumption seeks an enthusiastic applicant who is well organized and wants to be a part of a fun energetic organization while building their portfolio of work. This position in the athletic department focuses on athletic equipment and operations. These interns will report directly to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Operations and assist with the daily equipment and operation tasks of the department. They will gain valuable experience in what it takes to operate an athletic department and how it all works. The intern will get to work on assessing the inventory of the athletic department and help with tasks such as laundry and assessing equipment needs. Interns will also gain experience with preparation of facilities before games and after practices/games.
Marketing in Athletics Intern - Full Description
Assumption seeks an enthusiastic applicant who is well organized and wants to be a part of a fun and energetic organization while building their portfolio of work. The goal of the athletics and recreation marketing internship program, through the Department of Athletics, is to provide students with hands-on experience in a variety of areas with the marketing and promotion of the University’s intercollegiate athletic programs. This program will allow the department to increase its marketing efforts both on and off-campus, including the execution of marketing strategies, overseeing giveaways and other marketing activities at games and the development of additional ideas for the effective promotion of the student-athletes
